Starting as a Technical Engineer gave me hands-on experience across a wide range of helmets, which later prepared me to step into the role of Senior Technical Engineer. Along the way, I’ve shared knowledge, strengthened cross-functional teamwork, and led initiatives like implementing our PDM system. A highlight of my journey has been the UGL (Understanding Group and Leader) program, which gave me new tools for teamwork, leadership, and self-awareness.
Since I joined, Mips has tripled in size. That growth has required adaptability—blending new ways of working with established knowledge. I’ve found success by balancing the big picture with technical detail, staying curious, and keeping communication open.
After five years on the implementation team, I transitioned into product development. Bringing customer insights from past projects and lab testing, I now focus on designing with both the market and production in mind. Visits to partners, vendors, and trade shows have expanded my perspective and inspired new ideas for the next generation of helmets.
