Bollé Commits To Integrating MIPS In All Future Ski and Cycling Helmet Models
Bollé is yet another global brand to commit to integrating MIPS in all of its helmet products.
MIPS, the Swedish brain safety technology company leading the way in helmet-based brain safety, announces a reinforced partner-ship with Bollé, a 132-year-old brand leader in cycling helmets, ski goggles, and ski helmets. Bollé has committed 100 percent to incorporating
MIPS technology in every ski and cycling Bollé helmet model starting in 2020. MIPS and Bollé have been close partners for years, but this announcement marks the most significant agreement both brands have made in pursuit of safer helmet technology. Both brands are committed to offering best-in-class protection based on rigorous innovation and over 20 years of brain safety research to as many consumers as possible.“What gets everyone at MIPS up in the morn-ing every day is a devotion to making every helmet safer. It’s the primary reason MIPS was founded,” said Max Strandwitz, CEO of MIPS AB. “So, naturally we are thrilled when brands like Bollé commit to making all their helmets safer using MIPS technology. It’s a win-win for everyone: MIPS, Bollé, and most importantly, consumers across the globe.”
“We have also noted that more and more customers have taken the strategic decision to offer the MIPS BPS in all their helmet models. The American helmet brand Specialized received a great response in bicycle media when communicating their all-in commitment with MIPS some time ago. During the quarter, we saw two additional examples of this when the lifestyle helmet brand Nutcase as well as Bollé announced that they intend to implement the MIPS BPS in all their bicycle and snow helmet models. Naturally, we are very pleased with these brands’ commitment to offer safer hel- mets”, Max Strandwitz concludes.
