Mips acquires Koroyd
Strengthening world-leading helmet safety technology portfolio with complementary technology
Stockholm, Sweden – Mips AB (publ), a world-leader in helmet-based safety, has signed an agreement to acquire Koroyd. Koroyd is a pioneer in the development of advanced impact protection technology for head and body safety, which is complementary to Mips’ technology. The merger combines the knowledge of two innovation-driven companies, dedicated to advancing protection for consumers and professional users.
On December 11, 2025, Mips announced its acquisition of Koroyd, strengthening the company’s world-leading helmet safety technology portfolio with complementary technology. Recognizing the potential synergies between the two brands and their respective technologies, Mips and Koroyd will continue to operate separately under their respective leadership teams.
