Athlete of the Month October 2017

We are two girls from Frösön, Jämtland that learnt to know each other from school and playing soccer when we were kids. Since we were 16 years old we have talked about doing a long bike trip together and this year the dream came true. So on the 2nd of September we started biking the 6800 km Trans America trail that will take us from Yorktown, Virginia on the east coast over to Astoria, Oregon on the west coast.

FRIDA AXELSSON
I’m 33 years old and live in Frösön, working with refugee teens that comes to Sweden without their family’s. I used to work on a cruise ship that took me around the world for a few years and since then I’ve been on different adventures like walking the Santiago the compostela trail in Spain, ice skating in Alaska and exploring mountains here and there.

I am a 34 year old happy girl that’s been spending the last fourteen winters hunting powder with a snowboard under my feet in St Anton am Arlberg, Austria. Between winter seasons I normally spend a lot of time in Indonesia surfing or traveling around, always wanna know what’s around the corner.
